Multimedia & Digital Arts Showcase at Monash Art & Design
A Multimedia and Digital Arts Studio Showcase will be held at the Faculty of Art and Design on Wednesday 17th June, 2009 from 6pm to 8.30pm. Students from the Master of Multimedia and Master of Multimedia Design Coursework degrees will showcase their recently completed studio projects while 2nd year undergraduate students present their short films based on the theme 'The Package". Third year students will be presenting "MMDA". MMDA is multimedia, digital arts, an environment and an entactogen. It is a mixed reality prototype and an analogue of third year multimedia and digital arts studios. It bears resemblance to the proto-digital forms of expanded cinema and altered realities found in VJ mashups. MMDA is experienced visually (as moving image) or sonically (as ambient sound). This is an ideal opportunity for those interested in this area of study to informally mingle and interact with staff or students. Prospective students interested in applying for the Master of Multimedia or Master of Multimedia Design can gain invaluable knowledge from current students and staff members on the evening during the information session, which will be held on the night. Information regarding how to apply, requirements and to take full advantage of the opportunity it is recommended that you bring your academic transcripts, certified copies of your educational qualifications and CV so that recommendations can be given according to your needs and experience. Event Location: Lecture Theatre G1.04, G2.29 and G2.30, Registration of attendance For any further information please email enquiries@artdes.monash.edu.au or call +61 3 9903 1517. |
