ECR Network

The ECR network is for staff members whose research careers are less than 5 years.  A number of seminars are given by the Faculty Research Office as part of this program:

Session 1: Working as a Researcher in a Go8 University (7 July 2008)
Session 2: Research Integrity and Merit (4 August 2008)
Session 3: Building Productive Relationships (6 October 2008)

Research Seminars

Semester 2/2008
As part of "Research Month" the Faculty hosted a research seminar which all staff were invited to attend.

Dr Simon Barrett, Manager, Research Ethics & Compliance spoke about Human Ethics in the context of Art & Design and the University requirements.

Professor Claudia Terstappen, Department of Fine Arts, introduced the ‘40 Years Video Art’ event and spoke about her collaboration with the Max Plank Institute.

Dr Donna Leslie, Department of Theory of Art & Design, talked about her own research and her book Aboriginal Art: Creativity and Assimilation, Macmillan Art Publishing, 2007.

2008 Cluster Workshop

The 2008 Cluster workshop was held on Friday 14th March at the Telstra Dome.
