Whilst the Faculty/academic unit will endeavour to provide assistance and advice, it is your responsibility to ensure that units selected meet the degree regulations and requirements. Re-enrolment Information sessions 2009Returning students are welcome to attend an information session held in the Art & Design Lecture Theatre (G1.04) in the Art & Design Building. Course discontinuationYou cannot discontinue your course via WES. If you wish to discontinue your course please contact the relevant Faculty Office for an enrolment variation form. Please refer to the Student Resource Guide for cutoff dates for discontinuing your course without penalty. Information for returning double degree studentsIf you are undertaking a double degree course you must use WES to enrol in units for both degrees during the open period of the owning faculty for the course. Enrolment loadEnrolment load is measured in EFTSL (Equivalent Full Time Student Load). A full time student will normally be enrolled in 1 EFTSL (48 credit points). An EFTSL of less than .75 (36 credit points) is defined as a part-time study load. Overloading of credit pointsAll students must apply if they wish to overload their enrolment. The overload form must be filled out and permission from their Course Co-ordinator is recommended. Under enrolment of credit pointsAll students must get permission from their Course Co-ordinator if they wish to underload their enrolment. Student and Administrative Services requires written permission. If you are an international student you must apply with the underload form and under enrolment may affect your visa. |
