Karinya had always wanted to work in the field of animation and graphics, and the Master of Multimedia provided the perfect opportunity for her to experience many fields in one go; from 2D/3D Animation, CDROM and website design to Video/Audio and Project Documentation. Karinya ended up becoming passionate about web design, something she had not even considered before the course.
Even prior to graduating (March 2005), Karinya was able to start her own business, Karinya Kreations, designing websites and corporate identities, etc. Previously, she had studied a Bachelor of Arts/Diploma of Business, but really wanted to undertake a more creative course that would allow her to work from home. Monash’s Master of Multimedia definitely helped Karinya fulfil this plan.
